Christian was born in 1975 in Lübeck, Germany. He started out working in the movies in 1995. He worked his way through the Art Department as a Prop Buyer, Prop Master and Art Director before he started his studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in 2000. He accomplished his diploma at the Filmakademie as a commercial director in 2005.
