Moritz was born in 1979 in Frankfurt am Main and is now based in Berlin.
He studied Philosophy, Psychology and New German Literature from 1997 – 1999. After that he did various internships, for example at “Das Werk Postproduction Frankfurt“ and “Neue Sentimental Film Berlin“. From 2000 – 2006 he worked as a freelance editor (et al. for Wim Wenders, Detlev Buck, Nico Beyer) while studying at the "Deutsche Film und Fernsehakademie" in Berlin.
Since 2006 Moritz is working as a freelance director - he is a great story teller and when he says: Susan, jump out of the window, she does ;-)
