Caspar was born 1972 in Frankfurt / Main, Germany as a son to a novelist and a photographer. In early age he started out shooting stills and films with his friends and founded a theatre company at school. Additionally he worked as assistant and freelance photographer for fashion, advertising, editorials and location reports. Between '92 and '96 he released club records as DJ Caspar Houser and with the music project DNC. After A-Levels he decided to study acting & drama in the UK at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and at the London International School of Acting, where he made his diploma in 1996. He continuously worked and wrote on his own stories and ideas for movie scripts and commercials. Back in Germany in '97 he made a career as an actor in German Television and international cinema productions. In 2004 he was awarded with the Lola in Gold at the German Film Awards for his short film 'Full Stop'. Since 2005 Caspar works as photographer and director for films and commercials as well as executive producer for feature films. Caspar is a member of the German Film Academy and lives with his family in Frankfurt / Main and Berlin, Germany.
